The Speedworld Circuit located in SM Bicutan shall be hosting the Round 8 of the NAMSSA Philippine National Motocross Championships on Sunday July 11, 2010 from 9am to 5 pm .
After the recently concluded Valderama, Antique International Supercross Chamiponships the Philippine MX Team and its national riders shall be raring up to go in this city center circuit located in Metro Manila. The event is sanctioned by NAMSSA of whom is affiliated with the POC and the sole legitimate organizers of two wheel racing events and the governing body in the country today by virtue fo its affiliation with the international federation, the Federation International e de Motocyclisme ( FIM ) .
After the successful launching of the circuit recently it has already earned its accolades in aiding two wheels sports to develop the Filipino talent for international fame and tourism for the country, as NAMSSA is the sole body to have ever organized international and national sports racing events in the past 15 years of two wheels races with international safety standards of which also recently hosted the FIM Asia Championships Supercross series held this year with over 10 countries participating in the event with ESPN and Star TV telecasts.
Conveniently located in the city center the facility is the home to the training grounds of the Philippine MX Team of which uses these national rounds as the qualifying events for the choice of line up for upcoming Philippine National team composition in international events for the MX2 class headed by Kenneth San Andres leading Rider of the Year and Philippine Champion and the Junior categories of which shall be seeing action in events in upcoming FIM international events in Iran, UAE, USA and Indonesia to represent our country.
Another historical first for NAMSSA is that the search of the NAMSSA - Philippines top three best motocross riders shall be awarded to represent the country at the Olympics of Motocross - ongoing for 36 years and dubbed as the FIM Motocross of Nations to be hosted in Denver, Colorado this September, were in over 60 countries worldwide field their top three national riders to compete on a nations points system. NAMSSA has already fielded the national team to numerous continental and world championships events in the past but fulfilling this goal of entering in the Motocross of Nations is our peak of our aims and goals were in this National Sporting Authority has fulfilled building its grass roots level up to the international scene with the proper safety standards and international standards of regulations.
