NAMSSA MOTO RACES IN POC-PSC PHILIPPINE NATIONAL GAMES
For the second straight year, motorcycle sports will be in the roster of the competition events of the POC-PSC Philippine National Games. In contrast to other PNG sporting events scheduled in Dumaguete City and Negros Oriental on May 26-June 3, NAMSSA’s motorcycle sports events will be held on separate dates and venues in Metro Manila.

THAILAND’S THEPLIB BAGS PUERTO PRINCESA ASIAN MOTO DIADEM
PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN – AP Honda Thailand’s Arnon Theplib blasted away the competition in the Asian 125/MX2 motos of the 2012 FIM Asia Princesa Motocross Championship which opened here on April 14-15 to clinch the top individual leg honors. Backed by a team of top-notch factory mechanics and an equally adept teammate in the person of sixteen year old Thai motocross sensation Jugkrit Suksripaisan, the defending champion took the holeshot to score runaway victories in the two motos and reset the track’s lap record with a blistering clocking of 1:17.84 in moto 1 to send his title-retention bid on a high note.

VETS CLASS IN PUERTO PRINCESA ASIAN MOTO
“Life begins at 40”. This old adage will be the maxim of the participants in the Veterans event of the 2012 FIM Asia Motocross Championship, the continent’s premiere motocross series which will unfold in Puerto Princesa City on April 12-15. Aptly titled the Asian Veterans class, the event is open to all physically fit and able senior riders (40-55 years of age) from the FIM Asia member federations. RP’S MARK REGGIE FLORES HONORED IN FIM ASIA RIDERS GALA
MARK REGGIE FLORES from the Team NAMSSA Philippines bagged the 2011 FIM Asian Junior 85cc Motocross Rider of the Year Title. The 13 year old rider from San Pablo City, Laguna was the youngest among the motorcycle sports champions of Asian continental championship events who were feted in the 2012 FIM Asia Riders of the Year Awards Gala Ceremony held in Singapore on January 16, 2012.
Master Flores, who took up motocross as a toddler, is a product NAMSSA’s National Motocross Development Program, the NSA training program designed to tap motocross talents from the grassroots level, hone their skills for national and eventually international competitions. NAMSSA is recognized and supported by the Philippine Olympic Committee and the Philippine Sports Commission.
